Excel racing 4mm is ideal for 49er control lines. You can taper it down to ensure a smooth join in the middle. You will need 11-12 metres per control line depending on how much slack you like in your system to pull on the kicker and cunningham.

It makes spinnaker halyard tapering a little less time absorbing and saves your fingers and frustration! The rope tapers down to a 3mm spectra ensuring less friction and easier hoists and the outer core is hardwearing and ensuring maximum life out of your halyard.
